DAUMESNIL

Pierre DAUMESNIL (1777-????), colonel major of the light cavalrymen of the imperial guard by letters patent of the baron of the Empire, March 9th, 1810. Regulation of coats of arms :

Per fess : the first, per pale, Vert, a hunting horn Or and Gules, mark of the military barons ; the second, Azure, a trophy of seven flags and two rifles with bayonets Argent, supported by two tubes of cannon of the same ; and for liveries : colors of the shield.

Tierced per fess  : Sable, a tower embattled of three pieces Argent, port and masoned Gules ; Gules, mark of the knights and Azure, a horse galoping Or ; and for liveries : black, blue, red.

Baron of the Empire by letters patent of April 26th, 1810. Regulation of coats of arms : 

Quarterly : 1st, Sable, a tower Argent, 2nd, of the military barons, 3rd, Azure, a horse galoping Or, 4th, Or, 2 Polish spears Sable in saltire, the pennon per fess Argent and Gules, accompanied in chief and in flanch of three spur rowels Sable and in base of a horseshoe Azure studded of the field ; for liveries : colors of the shield.
