CAFFARELLI

Marie-François-Auguste CAFFARELLI (1766-1849), assistance of camp of the emperor, Minister for the war of the kingdom of Italy, major general, count of the Empire by letters patent of 15 January 1809. Regulation of coats of arms:

Quarterly: to the 1st, military counts; to the 2nd, per bend sinister Argent and Gules; to the 3rd, Argent to the lion rampant Sable; to the 4th, per bend Argent and Gules.


Transmission of the majorat emoluments conferred by decrees by 23 September 1807 and 15 August 1810, confirmed in favour of his/her only son, Eugene-Auguste CAFFARELLI, by ministerial order of 4 December 1849.

Transmission of the title of hereditary count confirmed in favour of its elder grandson in primogeniture, Jean-Louis-Maximilien CAFFARELLI, by ministerial order of 14 March 1879.

CAHOUET

Alexandre CAHOUET (1750-1838), divisional inspector of the bridges and chausse, knight of the Empire by letters patent of 20 August 1809. Regulation of coats of arms:

Per pale: to the 1st, Azure to the saltier engrailed Or cantoned of four bezants of the same and surmounted of a narrow chief also Or charged of a chevron reversed Gules; to the 2nd, Or to the griffin Azure; to the terrace in base Gules charged of the mark of knights of the Legion of Honour.

Letters of nobility in favour of Alexandre CAHOUET, inspector of the bridges and chausse, by letters patent 29 March 1817. Regulation of coats of arms:

Azure, a saltier indented Or, accompanied of four bezants of the same; , a chief Or charged of a chevron Gules, reversed.

CURDLED

Pierre CURDLED (1744-????), member of the body of electors of the Gironde and the general Council of Bordeaux, baron of the Empire with majorat by letters patent of 6 October 1810. Regulation of coats of arms:

Azure to a passant greyhound Argent, the head towards a sun set in chief embelif Or; , a narrow chief cousu Gules and charged with retracted three mullets Or; to the quarter of the barons members of the body of electors.

Title of hereditary baron confirmed by letters patent of 25 May 1816. Regulation of coats of arms:

Azure, to the passant greyhound Argent, the head raised towards a sun Or, set in chief embelif; , a chief retracted and cousu Gules charged with three mullets Or.

Title of hereditary baron, confirmed on institution of majorat (estate of Fadias, the Gironde), in favour of the same, by new letters patent of 6 October 1820, without new payment of coats of arms.

CURDLE

Felix CURDLES (1759-????), chief of squadron to the 4th wyverns, knight of the Empire with emolument by letters patent of 9 December 1809. Regulation of coats of arms:

Argent to the lion dragon Vert armed of a high sword Gules and accompanied of three mullets of the same; to the terrace in base Gules charged of the mark of knights of the Legion of Honour.

Title of hereditary knight confirmed by letters patent of 25 November 1814. Regulation of coats of arms:

Argent, to the lion dragon Vert, holding of the dextral paw a high sword Gules and accompanied of three mullets of the same; to the terrace in base also Gules, charged of a mullet Argent.

CAILLEMER

Louis CAILLEMER (1764-????), chief of squadron to the 26e chasseurs with horse, knight of the Empire by letters patent of 10 April 1811. Regulation of coats of arms:

Azure to the horse galoping Argent, surmounted of a sphere of the same, towered in sinister spearhead Argent; to the terrace in base Gules charged of the mark of knights of the Legion of Honour.

CAILLOUX-POUGET

François-Rene CAILLOUX-POUGET (1763-1851), colonel of the 26e regiment of light infantry, baron of the Empire by letters patent of 2 August 1808. Regulation of coats of arms:

Azure, a chevron Or accompanied of three grenades also Or, inflammed Gules; to the quarter of the military barons.

CAISSOTTI OF CHIUSANO

Charles-François-Hiacinthe CAISSOTTI OF CHIUSANO (1756-????), colonel of cavalry in retirement, member of the body of electors of the department of Pô, knight of the Empire by letters patent of 15 October 1809. Regulation of coats of arms:

Per fess Argent and Gules charged of a dexter arm gauntleted and brassardé, armed of a club in pale, the whole Proper; a bordure Gules charged of the mark of knights of the Legion of Honour set 2nd, not in chief.

FIXED

FIXED Jean-Chrysostôme (1769-????), colonel of the 96e of infantry, baron of the Empire by letters patent of 11 July 1810. Regulation of coats of arms:

Azure to the cuirass to the ancient Or on the dexter is set of an S and on the sinister is set of C Argent, and surmounted of a helmet Or set at 2nd point in chief; to the quarter of the military barons.

CALLANDE OF CLAMECY

Antoine CALLANDE OF CLAMECY (1762-????), advisor in the court of Bourges, baron of the Empire by letters patent of 8 May 1812. Regulation of coats of arms:

Azure, a chevron Or accompanied in chief of two mullets Argent and in base of a rock Sable towered of a dove Argent; to the quarter of the barons advisors of the imperial Courts.

HOLDER OF SAINT-APOLIN

Hubert HOLDER OF SAINT-APOLLIN (1764-1819), brigadier general, baron of the Empire by letters patent of 5 August 1812. Regulation of coats of arms:

Quarterly: to the 1st, Azure to the triton sounding of the conch Or, supported of a sea Argent; to the 2nd, military barons; to the 3rd, Sable to the pigeon Argent in middle fess point; to the 4th, Or to the eradicated tree Vert.
