BAR OF GIRAC

François BAREAU OF GIRAC (1732-????), baron of the empire by letters patent of 15 June 1808, with transmission to the one of its nephews, bishop of Reindeers, Knight of the Legion of Honour. Regulation of coats of arms:

Quarterly: to the 1st, Argent per pale of a feature charged to the 1st, a fess Gules, to the 2nd, of a tower Sable turretted of a turret of the same, opened of the field; to the 2nd, barons bishops; to the 3rd, Gules to a lion Or; to the 4th, Azure indented in chief Argent, a fess Argent accompanied in base of a mullet of the same; and over all, Or to a chevron Gules accompanied of three crescents of the same.

BARREL

Louis BARREL (1771-????), knight of the empire by letters patent of 2 April 1812, captain, Knight of the Legion of Honour. Regulation of coats of arms:

Azure to a sword in pale Argent, supported of a vol of 2 wings conjoined in base Or, to the orle of the same; a bordure Gules charged of the mark of knights of the Legion of Honour.

BARRELIER

Jean-Claude BARRELIER (1767-1830), knight of the empire by letters patent of 31 January 1810, donee in Westphalia on 19 March 1808, major of chasseurs, Knight of the Legion of Honour. Regulation of coats of arms:

Per pale: to the 1st, Or, 2 affrontee lions Gules, holding each one a sabre Sable, the two sabres crossed in saltire; to the 2nd, Azure to a vol of 2 wings conjoined in lure Argent; to the terrace in base Gules, charged of the mark of knights of the Legion of Honour debruising on per pale.

TRUMPETED

Jean-Léonard BARRIE (1762-1848), baron of the empire by letters patent of 27 November 1808, donee on Rome, 17 March 1808, brigadier general, commander, knight of Saint-Louis. Regulation of coats of arms:

Quarterly: to the 1st, Azure to a fort Argent on a terrasse of the same, masoned Sable; to the 2nd, military barons; to the 3rd, per pale Argent and Or, to a savage Proper, crowned and girds of foliages Vert debruising, the wide dexter hand and the sinister armed one of a club Or; to the 4th, Azure to a mullet Or.

TRUMPETED

Pierre-Jean (alias Joseph) Paul BARRIS (1759-1824), knight of the empire by letters patent of 26 April 1808, confirmed under the Restoration, deputy to the legislative Parliament (1791), president of the Court of cassation, Officer Of The Legion Of Honour. Regulation of coats of arms:

Sable to a scales of justice Or accosted in sinister of three split chevrons Or; on the dexter is set of a demy-pale Gules, charged of the mark of knights of the Legion of Honour.

Nicolas-Martin BARTHELEMY (1765-1835), baron of the empire by letters patent of 5 October 1808, donee in Westphalia on 17 March 1808, brigadier general, 4 April 1807, commander. Regulation of coats of arms:

Azure, a fess Argent, charged of a facing the sinister crocodile Sable, supported of a pyramid Argent masoned Sable and surmounted in dexter shield with two standards in saltire Or, charged each one of a mullet Sable; to the quarter of the military barons.

BARTHELEMI OF SAIZIEU

Antoine-Etienne-Lazare BARTHELEMY OF SAIZIEU (1736-????), baron of the empire, with majorat on the ground of Jarjayes, by letters patent of 13 April 1811, confirmed by royal decree of 29 April 1816, member of the body of electors of the Rhone Delta. Regulation of coats of arms:

Azure to a rock Argent of six mounts accompanied of three mullets Or 2 and 1; to the quarter of the barons members of the body of electors.

Louis-François-Richard BARTHELEMY OF SAIZIEU (1773-????), baron of the empire by letters patent of 21 February 1814, captain of ship, retired rear-admiral, commander. Regulation of coats of arms:
